Kinetic Sculpture by ART+COM

Located in the newly opened 5,000 square meter BMW museum in Munich, ART+COM have created a contemporary take on the original exhibition concept of "the road in converted space".

The mechatronic installation made up of 714 metal balls translates a virtual design process into the space around it. Seemingly weightless and guided solely by the power of the mind, the sculpture moves through a cycle of free abstractions and typical BMW vehicle forms.

It takes a few minutes to hit it's stride but it's captivating to watch.
