Tell The Truth As If It Were Lies

“But what is the good of friendship if one cannot say exactly what one means? Anybody can say charming things and try to please and to flatter, but a true friend always says unpleasant things, and does not mind giving pain. Indeed, if he is a really true friend he prefers it, for he knows that then he is doing good.”

Lure

"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.
Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself. "

Dinner/Alarm Bells

Inspired by Ms Lottie writing about fantasy dinner party guests. It's a tough one to narrow it down and to be honest my list would probably vary depending on what mood I'm in. I had a ponder and whittled my final eight guests down to:

Thích Quảng Đức
Buckminster Fuller

Margaret Cho

Oscar Wilde

Gloria Swanson

Keith Richards

Christine Jorgensen

Aleister Crowley

I can only imagine some of the topics that may arise if you were to gather this bunch in one room but methinks it would make for an splendid evening of entertainment!
